Glossary of Learning Terms > B > Bloom's Taxonomy

A classification of educational objectives, developed by Benjamin Bloom. The levels include Cognitive (mental skills/knowledge), Affective (feelings/attitude) and Psychomotor (manual or physical skill). Trainers and instructional designers often refer to these three domains as KSA (knowledge, skills and attitude). After a learning session, the learner should have acquired new skills, knowledge, and/or attitudes.
