Course or educational material presented on a computer, primarily distributed by CD or DVD. Although this term is sometimes used interchangeably with e-learning or Web-based training, the original meaning referred to training performed on a computer, but that did not require the computer be connected to a network and usually did not provide links to learning resources outside of the course.
