Employer training grants across Canada

Employers across Canada can access a variety of training grants and workforce development funding programs that help offset the cost of employee training. These programs are designed to support organizations in building workforce capabilities, adopting new technologies and improving productivity.

In most cases, employer training grants reimburse a portion of eligible training costs — often between 50% and 80% — up to defined limits per employee or per organization. Programs are typically administered at the provincial level and may include specific eligibility criteria related to employer size, training type or participant roles. This page provides an overview of employer training grants in Canada, with links to current programs and official guidance.
